Blue Star Foundation Scholarship

Since its inception in 2012, the Mohan T. Advani Centennial Scholarships programme supports economically challenged but academically deserving students in their pursuit of a professional/technical programme, and to prepare them for their professional lives. The Blue Star Foundation supports the scholars in a holistic manner by providing them with financial support, bolstered with mentoring and internship opportunities as well as soft skills training.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Second-year students enrolled in a degree programme in engineering (open for all branches)
  • Applicants must demonstrate a good academic track record.
  • Minimum marks in previous years:
    • 80% marks in Class 10 and Class 12 for first-year students.
    • 80% marks in Class 12 and 75% marks in the 1st year for second-year students.
  • Students enrolled in KJSSE will be eligible to apply.
  • Applicants’ annual family income from all sources must be less than INR 6 lakh. (First preference will be given to students in the group of below 6 lakhs annual family income, in case there is no student in this group, you may consider students belonging to families with income upto 8-10 lakhs)
  • Recipients should not be beneficiaries of any other scholarship.
  • Children of Buddy4Study, Blue Star and Blue Star Foundation employees are not eligible.

  • Annual family income certificate is below INR 8 lakh
  • Academic performance documents

Scholarship Benefit

  • INR 75,000 or 50% of the annual fees (whichever is less)
  • Criteria for continuation of scholarship (for old scholars):
  • Family income: As above
  • Academics: 7.5 CGPA score to be maintained throughout the tenure of the scholarship

Scholarship Renewal

Once selected, the scholarship will continue till final year of the student; subject to good academic performance.
